This session is all about you and the issues you are facing. In May we gave you the background and a few tools as to how Emotional Intelligence can be used in your school.
Now we are three weeks into your ‘new normal’ you will have a much clearer understanding of the challenges facing you. June’s session will be interactive and focus on how leading with Emotional Intelligence can help you overcome the challenges ahead.
On the bottom of the form we ask you to describe the challenges you are currently facing. You don’t need to answer this question but those who do may have their issues analysed and discussed during the session.

Emotional Intelligence for Teachers & Students
It is Emotional Intelligence (EQ) that makes us human. Those with high emotional intelligence are able to communicate better, empathise and understand the emotions and needs of others whilst ultimately enhancing their own life skills.
Fitter Future, alongisde some incredible and inspirational leaders have developed a child and teacher EQ programme that will change how schools lead and children think.
Teacher Programme Summary
The school programme will be delivered at three levels, executive leaders (Heads, Governors etc), the SLT and the teachers.
The course will compromise of a 1 day full INSET and then half termly virtual catch ups. Monthly development work will also be delivered.
Children Programme Summary
A series of online activities that can be completed in school and at home. Activities are split for KS1 / KS2 children and each one lasts for between 5 – 10 minutes with plenty of learning that can be taken from the activities and placed into sessions (either PHSE in the existing curriculum or an entirely new learning time). There will be four modules of learning: Awareness & Empathy, Management, Confidence and Motivation
